O guitarrista do Aerosmith, Joe Perry, se envolveu em um acidente de motocicleta nessa quinta-feira, dia 15 na cidade de Middleburough, Estados Unidos. A informação é do jornal “The Boston Globe”.
Conforme o site, a polícia local informou que o músico dirigia a sua motocicleta quando foi atingido na traseira por um sedã. Perry levado ao hospital Morton Hospital & Medical Center, mas já teria recebido alta.
Em maio, Joe Perry passou pelo Brasil, durante a turnê do Aerosmith "Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock!", que passou por Porto Alegre e São Paulo.

Aerosmith's Joe Perry in Motorcycle Accident
An Associated Press story states that Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry was injured yesterday when his 2009 Ducati Monster 696 was rear-ended by a car. Fortunately, both vehicles were traveling at a slow speed and the incident was not life-threatening.
Perry was treated for minor injuries at a hospital in the Middleborough, Massachusetts area while the driver of the car, 62-year-old Linda O’Brien, was not injured. She was issued a citation for following too closely. The condition of his motorcycle was not mentioned. (Hey, gotta show some love for the bike, too!)
Fortunately, Perry’s injuries won’t affect any of Aerosmith’s scheduled concert dates. The iconic rock & roll band is about to kick off an 18-city US tour this summer. The band had to cancel last year’s tour after lead singer Steven Tyler busted himself up good when he fell off the stage during a concert at the Legendary Buffalo Chip during the Sturgis Rally. Aerosmith went through a period of disparity after that, even threatening to replace Tyler, but apparently an amicable resolution has been reached and the band is set to tour once again.
